About Us

Lawn Enforcement is a full service landscape company who will work with you throughout the concept, design and installation of your project.  I have been providing quality service since 1996 and have an extensive list of satisfied clients.

I will work to exceed my customer's expectations by keeping the job site clean, safe, and by completing projects in a timely manner.  I will not start a project unless I can finish it with little or no interuption.

Many of my clients have been with me since day one, and I would not be where I am today without them.  I would personally like to thank them for their continued support through the years and look forward to working with them in the years to come.

Company history
I was twelve years old when I purchased my first lawn mower for $20,  I started mowing for our neighbors, whom mostly were from out of town.  Back then I would walk the lawn mower between every job.  I did not have a string trimmer or leaf blower, however, I did have a broom.

Through high school I continued mowing and I eventually bought a string trimmer and leaf blower.  I did the occasional shrub pruning and planting jobs, but for the most part all I did was mow.
Once I graduated high school I had to give the business a break for a while, so I could attend college.  UW-Platteville is where I headed.  I enriched myself with business and accounting classes while I was there.  This move in my life was short lived as I saw the college bills grow.  I decided for a more economical career path that would better suite my passion.  I choose Janesville Blackhawk Technical College and earned a degree in the field of Landscape and Turf.  I then became a certified and licensed applicator so I could perform lawn treatments.

By the spring of 1996 I knew it was time to make it official.  Lawn Enforcement was born.  I began mowing again and those jobs lead to other jobs like pruning, fertilizing, and weed control.  Eventually I started installing landscapes, patios, and retaining walls.

Little did I realize that all those years of mowing as a child taught me something.  It taught me what was easy and not so easy about maintaining a property.  Slowly I began changing little things in my clients landscapes, like the type of edging or mulch within a landscape bed. This in turn reduced the maintenance time needed each week to keep the property looking its best.

Learning new ways to do things seemed to be the way to go.  I listened to local nursery owners, asked other experts how they did things and watched my own creations to see how they would weather.  Recently with the help of the internet, I have been able to join landscaping forums to ask questions if needed or view other landscapes from all over the United States.

These last few years have been very exciting for me, and I look forward to installing many more unique landscapes.  I would not have been able to do this without the help and support of my family and friends.
